A canopy of multi-coloured streamers, radiating from a festoon of greenery, effectively decorated the Otahuhu Public Hall on Saturday evening, when the members and friends of the Loyal Otahuhu Orange Lodge celebrated the 54th anniversary of the lodge. | Visitors were present from a. num- ! ber of the local frien.dly societies, and also from neighbouring Loyal Orange Lodges. . Turner’s Orchestra provided a verv enjoyable programme of dance music, and extras were played by Mr. YV. Will’s string quartet, and Mrs. W. Jamieson. Among those present were: Mrs. C. SCOUT TROOP ENTERTAINS SUCCESSFUL EVENING The Devonport Scout Troop entertained its friends at a dance in the Parish Hall on Saturday even--10 The committee had decorated the hall with rainbow streamers and the music was played by Bartley’s Pirate Shippe Orchestra.
