THE TAINUI.—It has now been announced that the local agent for the Shaw*, Savill and Albion Company’s liner Tainui, which left Southampton on September 12 for Auckland and Wellington with passengers, mail and cargo, is A. S. Paterson and Company. PLUME LEAVES SAN FRANCISCO. —Advice has been received that the Vacuum Oil Company’s tanker Plume .•ailed from San Francisco on Monday, September 15, for Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is due to arrive at Wellington-on October 8. YNGAREN LEAVES LOS ANGELES. —Spedding, Limited, have received advice that the Swedish motor-sh:.p Yngaren cleared Los Angeles last Saturday for Auckland, via Papeete. The vessel is running under the auspices of 1 e General Steamship Corporation, the same as the Mirrabooka and Parrakoola were, and is bringing cargo from Pacific Coast ports foi* discharge at Auckland, Wellington and Australia. She is scheduled to reach Auckland on October 4.
