DETAILS OF NEW CONDITIONS Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. The Dominion Boot Operatives’ Award has been filed. It provides i'or a 44-hour week. The minimum wages for assistants are:—First year, 15s; second, £1 is; third, £1 6s: fourth, £1 11s; fifth, £1 16s. Where an assistant is employed on hot wax thread machines she is to receive an additional 10 per cent. The emploj r ees’ representative dissents to this clause and to piece-work. The award generally follows the lines of expired awards.
