BADMINTON
THE NORTHERN CLUB At the Northern Badminton Club’s closing night at Mangere, the president, Mr. K. H. Wilson, congratulated the club’s representatives on their excellent showing in the recent Auckland championships. The following prizes, which were won on the season’s play, were presented:—Men’s handicap singles, J. Solomon; women’s handicap singles, Miss D. Ellett; men’s handicap doubles, E. W. Griffiths and E. Tonks; first American/'tournament, Miss E. Rennie and J. Solomon: second American tournament, Miss B. Solomon and A. Robinson.
