BRUTUS AT EPSOM
/ )LD Brutus has left the shelter of the Tamahere stables and is now located at Epsom under the care of W. Willetts. The Hal Zolock gelding has reached the stage where no further improvement can be looked for. but nevertheless there is always a chance of him picking up a stake under favourable conditions. Last year Brutus started 13 times for Alan McMillan, being in the money on three occasions, including a victory in the Te Aroha Cup. At the recent Epsom meeting the oncebrilliant sprinter ran fourth each day, and his form was encouraging enough to suggest he is not yet a spent light.
