AUCKLAND AIR PORT
TRANSPORT BOARD GIVES BLESSING BUT NOTHING FROM PURSE The Transport Board decided today that although it recognised the desiiability of the establishment of an ailport for Auckland, it could not assume any financial responsibility for any such scheme. The board-in-committee discussed the question after its delegates had reported on the proposal as outlined by the sponsors, the Auckland City Council, at a conference of neighbouring local authorities.
