STEAMER WITH SUGAR CARGO IN FIJI GROUP REFLOATED LATER Reed. 11 a.m. SUVA, Today. Tile steamer Jedmoor, bound from Lautoka to Labasa, became stranded on a reef off Labasa River, Fiji, inside Mali Island. There is a hole in her forepeak and she is leaking slightly in No. 1 hold. The cargo of 1,250 tons of sugar was moved in aii endeavour to refloat the vessel, but later last evening it refloated unassisted. The cargo is practically undamaged. Lloyds’ marine surveyor is flying to Labasa today.
