ST. JAMES
“SONG O’ MY HEART” If you want to give your ears and eyes the season's biggest treat, go to the St. James Theatre as soon as possible, and there you will find the longpromised Fox movietone triumph, John McCormack, in “Song o’ My Heart.” John McCormack’s singing is worth anybody’s price of admission, at concert prices, but this movietone has a story, and is enacted so ably by the colourful supporting array of talent that, in our humble opinion, it is something you will want to see more than once. McCormack's characterisation as a saddened lover is so humanly enacted that one almost feels that he is living the role with this favourite tenor of all tho world. But credit must be given to lovely Maureen O’Sullivan, latest movietone find, for her engaging role as llileen, daughter of his former sweetheart, which role is brilliantly handled by Alice Joyce. John Oarrick, J. I\l. Kerrigan, Tommy Clifford, Farrell Macdonald, and the rest do •justice to their parts. An exceptionally fine supporting programme has been selected to accompany “Song o’ My Heart.”
