PORT BUILDING
PROGRESS OF FOUNDATIONS The contractors will start work on the new Port Building: on the waterfront on October 1. The foundations are being prepared by the Auckland Harbour Board. Twenty-six uf the 69 piles have al-
ready been driven and good progrfl£ has been made with all work ated with the foundations. . It is expected that the first pori of the building, for which the _ ten was let, will be completed in months.
