IMPRESSED WITH ROTORUA

SIR OTTO NIEMEYER’S VISIT rresa Association ROTORUA, Sunday. Sir Otto Niemeyer arrived in Rotorua by car from Frankton yesterday, just after noon. Accompanying him were Messrs. R. M. Kershaw, liaison officer, P. Verschaffelt. Public Service Commissioner, If. E. Hayes, financial adviser. A. D. P-ark, Secretary to the Treasury, and F. B. Dwyer, accountant, Internal Affairs Department. After luncheon the party visited tVliakarewarewa and other local sights, including the Fairy Springs, the School of Maori Arts and Crafts, Ohinemutu, the Maori Church and the Government batli buildings and grounds. Sir Otto was most impressed with the sights. The party later left for Waitomc, via Arapuni. They are to arrive at Wellington at midday on Tuesday.
