DEATH FROM INJURIES MAN STRUCK BY TRAMCAR A* a v result of injuries received by Mr. Gordon Malcolm Morrison wh«n he was knocked down by a tramcar in Queen Street yesterday afternoon, he died at the Auck*ir>d Hospital this morning. Mr. Morrison's home was at 2 Pine Street, Remuera. *£HE accident happened at the intersection of Queen Street and Victoria Street shortly before 5 p.m. Mr. Morrison, who was crossing from lie west side of Queen Street, stepped :1 front of a tram which was t.ravelng down the street, and was thrown heavily, receiving a fracture of the skull. Dr. C. E. A. Coldicutt, who was nearat the time, rendered first aid. Mr. Morrison was taken to the hospital J the St. John Ambulance, but did wt recover consciousness. An inquest is to be opened this tfternoon.
