PINK AND BLUE HARMONISE IN ATTENDANTS’ GOWNS PATERSON—JOHNSTON A very pretty wedding was celebrated at Pitt Street Methodist Church last week, of Tina, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. Johnston. Grey Lynn to David John, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Paterson. Kingsland. The Rev. Mr. Walker officiated. Tho bride, who entered the church on he arm of her father, wore an ivor . satin frock, ankle-length, with tulle frills and a hip bow. Her veil of brussels net was caught to the head with sprays of orange blossom, and she carried a bouquet of hyacinths, carnations and maidenhair. Th© bride was attended by her sisters. Misses Mamie and Ella Johnston, who wore ankle-length frocks of pale pink and pale blue taffeta respectively, with hats to tone. Each carried a shower bouquet. The bride’s brother, Mr. George Johnston, was best man. and Mr. Charles Lutterworth carried out the duties o groomsman. A reception was held later at XairnV Tea Rooms, Karangahape Road, when ihe bride’s mother received her guests, in navy blue moire taffeta with a navy and gold hat. The bridegroom’s mother wore a frock of beige taffet;. with hat to tone.
