KIHIKIHI WEDDING
THE DIGNITY OF SATIN SWAIN—LONG The marriage took place recently, at St. John's Church. Kihikihi. of Marie, daughter of Air. and Airs. W. J. Long. Haireni, to George, son of Air. an-1 Airs. W. Swain, of Te Awamutu. The officiating clergyman was the Rev. P. O’Flynn. The bride was attired in a dainty frock of ivory satin beaute with a tight-fitting bodice and a double-flared .skirt of georgette, finished at the' side with a panel of silver lame and a large silver posy. A beautifully embroidered veil of tulle was worn, held in place with a coronet of orange blossoms and tiny buds. She carried a shower bouquet. In attendance as bridesmaid was Miss Margaret Bryant, wearing a frock of powder blue taffeta with a tight-fitting bodice and full-flared skirt dipping to the ankles. She carried a pretty shower bouquet. Arr. J. G. Long, of Wellington, brother of the bride, acted as best man.
