TIVOLI AND RIALTO
FINE PROGRAMMES An abundance of enjoyable comedy is provided in “Lovin’ the Dadies which"is now at the Tivoli and Rialto Theatres. The picture, which is based on the stage play, "I Love )ou, is one of the best comedies screened m Auckland. The plot is a light one, but. is cleverly conceived, and a succession of farcical situations occurs before a Pleasing ending to the story is reached. A quaint but enjoyable strand of philosophy has been woven fnto the humorous nature of the film. Richard Dix, in the role of an electrician who masquerades in high societv is the star in “Lovin the Ladies. A complete change of programme will be presented at both theatres tomorrow. The new pictures will be “Love Comes Along," a song romance starring Bebe Daniels, and Woman to Woman,” a tense drama starring Betty Compson. Kenneth Mac Kenna, who played the lead in “Men Without Women,” has been assigned to an important part in the all-talking picture, “The General.” Mac Kenna. will play the scientist husband of Kay Francis. Walter Huston is featured In the leading male role.
