“Condemned.” a r ascinating tale of life on Devil’s Island, the French penal colony, is now being shown at the West End Theatre, Ponsonby Road, with Ronald Colman in the leading role. The story is a most exciting one with scenes of escapes by the prisoners, as well as a tender romance between Ronald Colman and Ann Harding. Louis Wollieim also has an important role.
