ATHLETIC AND SOCIAL CLUB

The weekly meeting of the 35th Athletic and Social Club, Devonport, was held on Wednesday. A full complement of members, was present. A short talk on physical culture was given by Mr. Millar, under whose guidance a class has been formed. He will be assisted by Messrs. Moran and Clist. The finals of the boxing tournament were postponed till next Wednesday to allow the gym. class to be formed. Air. Weighs the wellknown musician, has formed an orchestra for the club. This will have it* first practice next Wednesday.
