CORNISH ASSOCIATION
MONTHLY MEETING HELD An excellent musical and elocutionary programme, which included a sketch in the Cornish dialect, was provided by Mr. W. Hughes, at the monthly meeting of the Auckland Cornish Association. According to Mr. J. AY. Cocks. a number of tickets for the quarterly social next month had been reserved for Devonians. An essay competition on Cornish subjects would be held among the young members. It was decided that the December meeting would be in the nature of a Christmas "party,” when community singing of old Cornish carols would be held.
