“CAUGHT SHORT” TOMORROW i “Seven Keys to Baldpate,” the mystery thriller starring Richard Dix, which has been showing at the Regent Theatre, will, with its accompanying programme, finish there this evening. .Marie Dressier and Polly Moran will bo co-starred in Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer’s all-talking comedy, “Caught Short,” which will open at the Regent tomorrow, with a supporting cast including Anita Page, Charles Morton, T. Roy Barnes, Edward Dillon and Gwen Lee. The comedy team will be seen as Washington Square (New York City) boardinghouse-keepers who achieve a rapid rise from poverty to wealth as a result of dabbling in the stock market, only to lose all when the Wall Street crash occurs. A romance between Miss Page and Morton nas an important share in the plot. The situations of this comedy are said to be uproariously, funny, particularly in the early sequences of the picture in which Miss Dressier and Miss Moran are seen in their boardinghouse activities and again later when with the sudden acquisition of wealth they attempt to play the "grand ladies.” “I m Spanish Now,” a burlesque number, will be sung and danced by Miss Dressier in a boardinghouse party scene, while a second number, “Somebody,” will be sung by Charles Morton.
