HEAVY IMPORTS DROP
COMMONWEALTH IS WORKING FOR TRADE BALANCE JULY EXPORTS UP SYDNEY, Tuesday. Australia’s overseas trade returns for July show that the imports, valued at £7,290,428, were £5,679,568, or 43.7 per cent., less than a year ago. The exports were valued at £7,247,751, which is an increase of £830,113, or 11.4 per cent., over those, of July, 1929.
