Mr. J. "Wilson, of Hamilton, arrived in Auckland this morning to spend a tew days. Mr. Alan J- Wills left for Wellington by the Limited last evening on a business visit. Sir Frederic Lang, the Hon. E. W. Alison, the Hon. C. J. Carrington and the Hon. V. H. Reed, M.L.C’s., left for Wellington last evening. Mr. E. C. Rutledge, general manager for Fox Films in New Zealand, left Auckland for Sydney by the Niagara last evening on a business trip. Mr. J. S. Brigham, Town Clerk, and Mr. J. Stanton. City Solicitor, who have been in Wellington on city business. returned on the Limited this morning. Mr. A. G. Graham; general manager of Briscoe and Company, Limited, returned to Auckland by the Maunganui yesterday after a business visit to Australia. Mr. P. L. Porter, who has been attached to the London staff of the Bank of New Zealand, returned to New Zealand by the Makura. He was accompanied by Mrs. Porter. Lieutenant H. D. Gilman. of khe Suffolk Regiment, who has been in England for the last three years, arrived here by the Maunganui yesterday on a holiday visit. He is on old boy of King's College. Mr. Claude Kingston, concert director for J. and N. Tait, Ltd., has arrived in Wellington and will supervise the forthcoming season of Kubelik, the violinist. M»\ Kingston, who has been associated with many famous artists, was last here with Chaliapin. Mr. F. B. Spencer, of Sydney, manager for Australia and New Zealand ••f the Nestle* and Anglo-Swiss Condensed Milk Co (Australasia), Limited, is at present in Wellington.
