WORKER’S FINGER SEVERED
A finger was severed from one hand of Mr. W. J. Dew, a waterside worker, while he was engaged in loading operations on the Niagara at about six o'clock last evening at Prince’s Wharf. Mr. Dew, whose home is in Taylor Street, Avondale South, was taken to the Auckland Hospital by the St. John Ambulance. He was treated in the casualty ward.
