DRIVER CAUGHT UNDERNEATH SERIOUS. INJURY SUFFERED From Our Own Correspondent ROTORUA, Tuesday. A truck driven by Pol Chase, of Oruanui, caught ■ fire at the 40-mile peg on the Taupo road. At the time of the outbreak Chase Yvaa underneath the truck investigating the cause of mechanical trouble. He suffered severe burns, which were aggravated by the frost. He \vas taken to Taupo for treatment. His condition is considered serious.
