AUCKLAND CONTROL BOARP MEETS REPRESENTATIVE FIXTURE The Control Board of the Auckland Football Association last evening finalised arrangements for the “Y.M.C.A. Day,” to be held at Blandford Park next Saturday. The main match will be a representative fixture, Auckland v. South Auckland. Teams from the Y.M.CA will provide curtain-raisers from 10 a.m. onward, the final curtain-raiser at 2 p.m. being tho Auckland Y.M.CA. Seniors v. Hamilton Y.M.C.A. Seniors. The senior division committee notified that it had resolved to discontinue the second grade championship, which would be decided on the first round. The Glen Innes Club app’ied for permission to play a friendly fixture against the Corinthians Club at Glen Eden on Saturday. It was decided to advise Glen Innes that permission could mot be granted on account of the representative fixture being played *?n Saturday.
