WESTFIELD STOCK SALE WESTFIELD, 2 pm. A heavier entry of ox beef at Westfield today was made up ot some of the best quality seen in the yards for some time. Prices for heavy prime cattle were inclined to be a litt.e easier, but, the market generally held at late rates. Best young ox made to 426 a hundred, best young cow and heifer beef made to 40s a hundred. Approximately 250 head were yarded in tr.e steer beef section. The averse©, quality was high, most lines being well l.nished and snowing eviaence 01 careful handling. The fact that mar.y lines were starting to show the usual spring “bloom ’ added to the attrac-. tiveness of the entry.
