LOUISSON WINS BLOOMFIELD BOWL THE AUCKLAND CLUB The tird round of the Bloomfield Bowl competition was played by members of the Auckland Golf Club on Saturday. About 70 players took part, the course being very heavy. Possession of the trophy Is decided on the best two cards returned in the three rounds and. N. Louisson gained the prize with socres of 71 and 76. Kivintt him a total of 146. He thus holds the trophy for the season. J. Farrell was second with scores of 71 and 78. making a total of

N. Louisson, who tied with C. Dawson in the second round of the Bloomfield Bowl, also won the play-off. H. Plumley won the medal match held in conjunction with Saturday’s match with the fine card of 74. 1—73, and In future will play off scratch. The Auckland Golf Club's tourney for boys, which Was to have commenced last Monday, but was postponed on account of rain, will commence this morning at 10.30 o’clock.

WHANGAREI V. DARGAVILLE
, From Our Own Correspondent DARGAVII.LE, Saturday. In a series of matches today, played between representatives of the Whangarei and Dargaville Golf Clubs, the Dargaville Club was successful in winning ten matches to Whangarei's eight. In spite of rather treacherous weather conditions the visitors expressed themselves as well pleased with the appointments of Dargaville’s new golf course, the clubhouse and the arrangements made for their entertainment.
