A social tea and reunion of old members and friends will be held at five o’clock this evening, to be followed by a congregational praise meeting. Laier, reminiscences of the early days of the Tabernacle will be given by old members and greetings will be read from missionaries and absent friends. A musical festival by the Tabernacle Choir will be given tomorrow evening, and on Wednesday the juvenile congregation will give a special demonstration. “Baptist Night” will be celebrated on Thursday evening, the speakers being the Rev. J. J. North and the Rev. M. W. P. Lascelles. Mr. F. W. Gaze will give an address dealing with the growth of the Baptist denomination in Auckland.
