JOLLY EVENING AT ORIENTAL RENDEZVOUS A very gay dance party organised by Miss Montgomerie was held at the Oriental Rendezvous. Mangere. on Saturday. The hostess received the guests wearing a frock of rose georgette with a coatee to tone.

AFTERNOON AT LYCEUM CLUB On Thursday afternoon the amusement committee of the Lyceum Club arranged a vpry enjoyable party to enable town and country members to meet. The decorations of bulbs and other spring blossoms made the lounge very attractive to the visitors, who spent a happy time with competitions, tea and music. Luring the afternoon the Misses Barrell gave a pianoforte duet, Mrs. Hubert Hammond and Miss Norah Valder played solos and Mrs. J. J. Standrin and Mrs. Farquhar sang songs.
