FOOTBALLERS INJURED

Several Rugby and League footballers who suffered minor injuries in matches on Saturday were attended by St. John Ambulance men. Two players were sent to hospital for attention. A Ponsonby third grade League player, H. Thompson, of 8 Tutaneka! Street, Grey Lynn, dislocated his shoulder, but after receiving attention In hospital was able to return home. A Ponsonby Rugby player, R. Skinner, of John Street, Ponsonby, was treated at hospital for head "injuries he received in a game at Eden Park and was later sent home.

Shoulder injuries were suffered by Campner, an Ellerslie League player, who was able to return home after receiving treatment.
