TO BE OFFERED AT AUCTION Several of the Auckland Transport Board’s properties are to be offered at auction on Friday, September 12. The sale, which will be conducted by Paletliorpe, Parkes, will commence at 11.30 a.m. in the Chamber of Commerce, Swanson Street.

One property to be offered is the Ponsonby terminus barn site. A City warehouse possessing two road frontages to Lower Hobson Street and Fanshawe Street, and a business site at the Onehunga tram terminus are other lots to be submitted to auction. The latter property, which is 62ft by 186 ft, and fronts Lower Queen Street, is suitable for a garage or filling station.
