HOT BANDIT CHASE
ARMED ROBBERS GET AWAY IN SYDNEY CITY FOOTPADS AT WORK SYDNEY, Sunday. Armed robbers bailed up Mr. David Campbell, who conducts a small-goods shop in Rawson Place, in the centre of the city, yesterday and stole £25. There was a hot pursuit through the city streets, but the thieves escaped. Footpads kicked Mr. Robert Hogan, aged 60, into insensibility at Surrey H4lls last night and he is in a serious condition. Attempts to rob him were frustrated by onlookers who failed to catch the ruffians.
