‘Wethers.—There is a better inquiry, and the outlook is brighter. Ewes; Limited business has been done at nominal prices. Lambs: Trade is brighter and demand is better. Beef; Prices are maintained with difficulty. “Wethers, light, 4£d to 6d a lb; heavy. 33d to 4Jd; ewes, 2£d to 3Ad; lambs, twos, 8d to Bgd; eights, 8 3-8 d to 8 7-Sd; fours, S?;d to 83d; seconds, 7d to 7&d: ox hinds, 5d to fores. 3d to 3Ad: cow hinds, 4d to 4id; fores, 23d to 3d.’’
