CANADIAN TRANSPORTER ARRIVES.—An arrival early this morning was tlio steamer Canadian Transporter, from Montreal and Sydney (Cape Preton Island). The vessel lias a cargo of steel and general merchandise, the local portion of which she is discharging at Prince's Wharf. She also brought" four stud bulls, three of which have been unloaded here, the fourth being for Wellington. She is to sail p.m on Tuesday for Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, and Dunedin to complete discharge. The vessel cleared Sydney for Auckland on July 30, and experienced fair to moderate weather throughout her voyage with the exception of three days of boisterous conditions when approaching the New Zealand coast. In command of the Canadian Transporter is Captain J. F. Smeltzer and the following are the officers: Chief officer, Mr. A. !E. Webster; second, Mr. T. C. AI. Cotton; third, Air. E. J. Parsons; chief engineer. Air. J. Mahieu; second, Air. R. Cox; third, Air. J. Parkinson; fourth, Mr. A. Buchan; wireless operator. Air. AL. Gilbert; chief steward, Mr. A. Drinkwater.
