A WEDDING GOWN OF SPANISH LACE
ATTENDANT MAID IN DELPHINIUM BLUE

On Wednesday evening, at St. David’s Church, Khyber Pass, the marriage was celebrated of Hazel, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. V. Johnson, of Nelson, to Hugh, third son of Mr. and the late Mrs. I H. R. McKenzie, of St. Heliers Bay. The ceremony was performed by the I Rev. Mr. Thomson. Given away by Mr. A. Beckwith, the bride wore an ankle-length gown of frilled ivory Spanish lace over an underdress of silver lame. Her veil of embroidered tulle was held in place with a coronet of orange blossoms and she carried a bouquet of sweet peas, j freesias and maidenhair fern. Miss Xetta Beckwith was bridesmaid ! wearing a frock of delphinium blue j georgette, with a head-dress of silver j and blue. She carried a bouquet of ■ daffodils and hyacinths. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. j Frank Marriage as best man. After the ceremony a reception was : held at the Kensington Tea Rooms.
