GIFT FOR BEAUTIFYING WORK LATE MR. CHARLES PLIMMER Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. The estate of the late Mr. Charles Plimmer, a member of one of the oldest Wellington families, who died this week, was provisionally sworn for probate at £115,550. Under the will £I,OOO a year is to be paid, with a certain provision, to tlio Wellington City Council in perpetuity to be expended in planting trees and shrubs and in beautifying the bays and beaches within 25 miles of the Wellington Post Office. Provision is also made for bequests of £2OO to St. Joseph’s Orphanage. £2OO to the Anglican Boys’ Home and an annuity of £IOO to the Home of Compassion for five years.
