CAR SOMERSAULTS

HUSBAND AND WIFE INJURED ACCIDENT AT HOROTIU From Our Own Correspondent HAMILTON, Today. A car containing Mr. 'and Mrs. W. : Roberts, of Epsom, skidded on the ; Ngaruawahia Road at Horotiu this

afternoon and after somersaulting landed on its wheels again.

Both occupants were injured. Mrs. Roberts is believed to have suffered broken ribs, a scalp wound and shock. Her husband received a

wound on the forehead and abrasions and shock.

The car was a new one, and Mr. Roberts was just starting off on a holiday. The vehicle had damage done to the hood, mudguards, lamps and windows, and the steering wheel smashed. The occupants were sent to hospital, but the husband was able to leave after his wound had been dressed.
