PEARCE WINS AGAIN
ADDS SPECIAL RACE TO LIST OF VICTORIES EVENT ON LAKE ONTARIO Reed. 2 p.m. TORONTO, Thursday. Bob Pearce, Australia, defeated Joe Wright, Toronto, in a special quartermile sculling race on Lake Ontario on Thursday evening by three-quarters of a length. The result was doubtful until the last 100 yards, when a tremendous spurt gained Pearce the verdict.
