SPEED RACES IN ENGLAND AUSTRALIA DEFEATED LONDON, Wednesday. England defeated Australia in the fourth test motor-cycling match today at Manchester Speedway by 51 points to 45. »thus winning the rubber. There were 40,000 spectators. Vic Huxley, the Australian captain, was the most successful rider. He won each of his four races. llis time for the opening heat. 82 4-ssec. was the best of the match. Jack Chapman won three heats, but was beaten by Varey, the English captain, in the fifth heat, which made the scores equal after Australia had led 13—11. Bon Johnson and Max Grosskreutz won their heats. Dicky Case, Frank Arthur, Billy Lament, and Dick Wise also competed.
