Quentin Pope’s Anthology of Poetry

rpuE publication of Mr. Quentin Pope’s anthology of present-day New Zealand verse is announced by J. M. Dent and Sons, Ltd., for next month. The anthology is entitled

"Kowhai Gold,” and contains the work of many writers who have contributed frequently to this page. Among them are Eileen Duggan. Robin Hyde, Una Currie, Helena Henderson, Winifred Tennant, and A. R. D. Fairburn. In the volume are 200 poems by CO ■writers. Fairburn, who is recognised as one of the Dominion’s most promising writers of verse, left recently to try his luck in London.
