TO RIDE GAY CREST
L. J. ELLIS ENGAGED IN BIG SPRING HANDICAPS T. Lloyd, trainer of Gay Crest, stated in Sydney that the New Zealand jockey. L. J. Ellis, is to ride Gay Crest in his principal spring engagements. Ellis is at present in Melbourne. Gay Crest finished fourth in the big handicap last Saturday, in which Dilston defeated In the Shade.
