SUGAR WORKERS
PROSPERITY IN INDUSTRY IN QUEENSLAND LESS STATE ASSISTANCE SYDNEY, Wednesday. Mr. J. G. Latham, Leader of the Opposition in the Federal Parliament, returned to Sydney today from a visit to the sugar districts of Queensland. He said he had found the people engaged in the industry very prosperous. The majority of them were prepared to accept a reduction in the amount of assistance now being given to them.
