BOWLING

MASONIC CLUB MATCH Four teams aside, representing the Auckland Commercial Travellers -and Warehousemen’s Association and the Masonic Club, met in a friendly match on the Remuera Bowling Club’s green yesterday afternoon. The Masonic Club teams were successful in each instance. The weather was dull and the greens a little heavy, but they played very well indeed. Following were the scores, the commercial travellers being mentioned first in each instance: Johns, Heath, T. Clark, Dick 15, v. Westbrook, Badeley, Reed, Trayes 26; Diddams, Miller, MeCallum, Scantlebury 20, v. Buddie, Leighton, Teohan, Walker 24; Hewitt, Beere, Johnston, Fraser 18 v. Purdy, Walker, Bassett, Sutherland 25; Jentills, Stanaway, Doonan, Daniels 19, V. Syme, Shepherd, McFarland, Jewel 25. ELLERSLIE CLUB The following skips have entered for the Ellerslie Bowling Club’s full-rink tourney, to be played on Saturday next and also the following Saturday:—Gollan, F. Wood, Joll, Patterson, McKelvie, Watson, Westbrooke, Segedin, Toy (Ellerslie), Lippiatt, Keith, Harper (Otahuhu), Adean (Mount Eden), Pilkington (Te Papapa), Turner, Millen (Carlton). YV.
