W.E.A. LECTURE

“The Influence of Women in Public Affairs” will be the subject of an address by Miss E. M. Moore, under the auspices of the W.E.A., on Tuesday next. Miss Moore had attended various conferences abroad, representing the interests of Australian women. On a lecture tour in England shortly after the war, she came into contact with many women prominent in social and political work. She has represented Australia at the two recent Pan-Pacific conferences of 192 S and 1930, being secretary to the Australian delegation at the last-named conference, from which she is now returning. Miss Moore is a native of Melbourne, whero she is well known as a public speaker and writer.
