‘ HOOT GIBSON AT HIS BEST” j “Trailing Trouble.” an entirely different type of talkie film, is now being shown at the Roxy Theatre. Hoot Gibson, the popular cowboy actor, is the star in this film, which tells a story of the romantic West that thrills young and old alike. Commencing on Monday, another British double-feature programme is to bo presented. The principal feature will bo “The Blame of Love,” in which tho famous young Chinese actress, Anna May Wong, will appear. “The Song of Love” is the second film to be shown, and stars Carl Brisson. Carl is a most amiable youth, with dimples and a frank, engaging smile, who sings several songs quite well, especially “Mademoiselle from Montparnasse” and “Lady of the Moon.” He makes the fortune of a. modest cafe in London, by friends of his pal and comrade of the Foreign Legion. Donald Calthrop, who in this is a Cockney of Cockneys.
