STOLE SHOES
WOMAN REMANDED Pleading guilty to the theft of a pair of shoes valued at 255, Annie Hartley, a domestic, aged 55, who appeared at the Police Court today, was remanded for sentence until September 5. “We found four pairs of shoes in her possession when she was arrested,” said Chief-Detective Hammond, in asking that accused be stood down for sentence. “We haven’t yet found out to whom they belong.".
