OVERSEAS SOCCER
BRITISH SEASON STARTS HOT WEATHER FOOTBALL In spite of a temperature of over 90 in the shade, the Soccer season in England started on Saturday last, the hardy Scot having begun their competitions proper a week previously. Following are the results of the principal games played on Saturday, Chelesa celebrating its promotion with a win, while a clash of the ups-and-downs at Plymouth found Everton victors in the Second Division by the odd goal n five. In the results the home side is given first.
