AUCKLAND HAS TWO WINS Press Association HASTINGS. Monday. The New Zealand basketball tournament continued today in glorious weather, and some exciting games were played. The results are: Section One. —Auckland beat Wairarapa, 31 —8; Hawke’s Bay beat South Canterbury, 25—12; Southland beat Taranaki, 13—6; Wairarapa beat Taranaki, 9*»-5; Southland beat South Canterbury, 17 —4; Auckland beat Hawke’s Bay, 23 —18. Section Two.; —Wellington beat Marlborough. 27—<6; Canterbury beat Poverty Bay, 15 —3; Otago beat Manawatu, 14 —5; Otago beat Canterbury, 15 — 12; Wellington beat Manawatu. 31—3; Poverty Bay beat Marlborough, 16 — 8.
