Raincoats Today Gloomy Weather at Relief Meeting
The weather was wet and cold for the closing; day of the Auckland Trotting Club’s meeting for unemployment relief, and raincoats were the order of the day. These were to be seen in a v'ariety of colours and material, with the beret to match. Mrs. Brittain, navy and red silk rainproof coat, and beigre hat. Mrs. Reid, brown cloth coat, fur trimmed, and beige brown felt hat. Mrs. Quinn, navy blue ferucloth coat, and trimmed with fud, navy hat. Miss Keys, tweed tailored suit, beige mattamac and green felt hat. Miss Flynn, navy blue ensemble and navy liseret straw hat. Mrs. Richard Quinn, cerise cloth ensemble and black hat. Miss Huor Buisson, green leather coat, gay scarf, and beige felt hat. Miss J. .Johnson, black cloth suit, furtrimmed, and black and white hat. Miss Q. Lowe, cigar brown ensemble and beige hat. Miss Gall, nigger brown tailored coat and brown hat. Miss P. Smith, black cloth coat, furtrimmed and black hat. Miss Purcell, brown cloth coat, furtrimmed and brown felt hat. Mrs. S. McGill, navy blue tailored ensemble and navy felt hat. Mrs. G. Walker, brown carracul coat and white felt hat. Mrs. H. R. Potter, navy fur-trimmed coat and small navy hat.
