NORTH CAPE LIGHT OUT
REPORT BY THE NARBADA When the Narbada, bound from Calcutta to Auckland reached the North Cape, she found that the North Cape light had gone out. This was the only lighthouse not showing its light on the whole voyage. Officers of several ships visiting New Zealand consider that the Dominion’s coast is not lighted as well as it should be.
