POLAND IN CHAOS
TERRORISTS ARE PAID FROM ABROAD DICTATORSHIP PENDING Reed. 1.10 p.m. WARSAW, Sunday. The suspicion that Marshal Pilsudski s recall to the Premiership of Poland presages a definite dictatorship is strengthened by the President's proclamation dissolving Parliament because he despairs of it making the requisite changes to extricate the country from constitutional chaos. The elections are being held on November 16, and for the Senate on November 23. The Opposition Press sees in a savage assault on M. Dabsky, leader of the Opposition, involving his housekeeper and young daughter, by a quartette wearing military uniform, a sample of the Government supporters’ election campaign methods. Minor acts of terrorism and incendiarism are reported from Galacia, where the authorities arrested 20 terrorists who were subsidised from abroad. Large stores of munitions were found during the round-up.
