SHORE DANCE
ROVERS’ BASKETBALL CLUB FUNDS FOR JUNIOR TEAM A very enjoyable dance was given by the Rovers Basketball Club, in the Navy League Hall, Devonport, on Thursday evening. The object was to assist the junior team to make its annual visit to Thames. The hall was decorated in the ciub colours, royal blue and tangerine, and festoons of gaily coloured balloons added a bright touch. Among those present were:—Miss T. H.trt. in apple green crepe de chine and silver lace; Miss M. McDougall, black ling velvet with red shoulder posy; Miss B. Foster, blue crepe de chine; Miss D Hint*, black satin; Miss E. Bush, brown crepe de chine; Miss T. Bow, lemon embossed georgette; Miss R. McMahon, in coffee lace; Miss G. Jones, shell pink crepe de chine; Miss C. Taylor, floral chiffon velvet; Miss M. Bnldock. green erepe de chine and silver lace; Miss J. Mill, shot bine taffeta and lace; Miss E. I>orringt«>n, salmon pink beaded georgette; Miss E. Eddie, apricot taffeta; Miss T. Baldock, petunia satin; Miss T. Pearce, apple green moire velvet. Miss C. Marino, in red crepe do chine and tinsel; Miss M. Jenkinson, apple green georgette; Miss B. Allen, blue and white georgette; Miss B. Elder, apricot silk and lace; Miss B. Bruce, cyclamen rayon and silver lace; Miss R. Sligo, ankle-length apricot satin; Miss V. Gibbons, a mauve frock; Miss P. Gibbons, black satin; Miss Purcell, peach crepe de chine; Miss French, black and old gold; Miss Pike, blue, trimmed with gold; Miss r. Nicholas, lemon beaded net: Miss M. Lane, apple green net over pink satin; Miss L. Baldock, apricot taffeta and silver lace; Miss Joyce Purser, shell pink taffeta; Miss F. Blac kie, rose pink georgette with sequined bodice.
